“Triumph at the National Stage: Sipna Architecture Students Shine in Heritage Documentation and Awards” The students of Sipna School of Planning and Architecture, Amravati, were recently invited to the Biennale of Art, Architecture, and Design organized by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, and the Council of Architecture. This event took place in Delhi from 9th to 15th December, 2023, and featured various programs. Notably, Sipna Architecture College was invited to participate in the Heritage Documentation Award 2023. The college had recently undertaken the documentation project titled as “Footprints of the Yadava Dynasty at Mahimapur”. This commendable documentation work was later submitted to the Council of Architecture for the Heritage Award, and it was selected at the zonal level, with only two colleges from Zone 2 being chosen. It is noteworthy that Sipna Architecture College was the only college from Vidarbha region included in this selection process. As part of the national-level examination, the college was invited to Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi, on December 10th, 2023. During this selection process, the college received the Certificate of Merit and an cash prize. During the event, President of the Council of Architecture, Prof. Abhay Purohit, engaged in a dialogue with the students, expressing special admiration and inviting them to continue their excellent work. The college received recognition for its significant achievements from the beginning. The success is attributed particularly to the special cooperation and guidance from the Sipna family and Principal Smita Kasat. Prof. Sarang Hole, Prof. Chinmay Burange, Prof. Dhanshree Pande, and others worked tirelessly. The leadership of Mr. Jagdish Gupta, Secretary Mr. Ravindra Kadu, Joint Secretary Ar. Subhash Bharsakle, and Mr. Nilesh Gupta congratulated students and professors for their achievement and extended their best wishes for future endeavours.”
